Sutter Capitol Pavilion

The Sutter Capitol Pavilion is a four story, state-of-the-art facility that will house medical offices and outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, outpatient surgery and recovery facilities.  It includes a six-room outpatient surgery suite, 40 recovery beds and non-invasive cardiology and medical offices – and valet services for patients.

  • Sutter Capital Pavilion will connect to all of the other building on the medical campus with a second story glass skywalk. Patients and visitors will be able to view Sutter’s Fort and the surrounding neighborhood.
  • The Energy Center, which provides power, houses emergency generators, and provides heating and cooling to all of the medical campus’ buildings, is located below ground level.  Also below ground level are two stories for parking.
  • Facing Sutter’s Fort across L Street, the Sutter Capitol Pavilion features a stepped-back design and landscaped plaza, with a café and courtyard facing the historic Fort.
  • Along the 28th Street side of the Sutter Capitol Pavilion, an exterior glass hallway showcases rotating art exhibits, crowned by heritage palms, for neighborhood pedestrians to enjoy.
